Sobre o Grupo
"Hello, we are TWICE!" TWICE is a nine-member girl group under JYP Entertainment who debuted on October 20, 2015. The group's name was personally coined by JYP founder J.Y. Park, meaning "to touch people's hearts twice — once through the ears, and once again through the eyes." With five Korean members (Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Dahyun, Chaeyoung), three Japanese members (Momo, Sana, Mina), and one Taiwanese member (Tzuyu), TWICE's multinational identity is central to who they are. Since their debut, they have rewritten the history of K-pop girl groups to become South Korea's "National Girl Group."

História de Estreia
TWICE was formed through Mnet's survival competition show SIXTEEN (aired May 5 – July 7, 2015). Sixteen JYP trainees competed for spots in the new group, with J.Y. Park himself serving as judge and having final say.
Originally planned as a seven-member group, Park ultimately expanded to nine: Momo was called back after elimination for her extraordinary dancing ability, and Tzuyu secured her spot by earning overwhelming support in the viewer vote.
On October 20, 2015, TWICE officially debuted with the EP The Story Begins and title track "Like OOH-AHH," winning a music show just after debut. "CHEER UP" (2016) then became the year's most-streamed song in South Korea, cementing their status as the nation's favorite girl group.
