Super Junior is a nine-member boy group under SM Entertainment that debuted on November 6, 2005. Conceived by producer Lee Soo-man as a group bringing together members with diverse individual talents, it originally launched with 12 members under the name "Super Junior 05" and expanded to 13 when Kyuhyun joined in 2006. Their 2009 hit "Sorry, Sorry" sparked a Hallyu wave across Asia, earning them the title "Kings of Hallyu." In September 2014, they became the first Korean act to hold 100 concerts worldwide, and in 2025 they released the album Super Junior25 to mark their 20th debut anniversary.
