About the Group
Super Junior is a nine-member boy group under SM Entertainment that debuted on November 6, 2005. Conceived by producer Lee Soo-man as a group bringing together members with diverse individual talents, it originally launched with 12 members under the name "Super Junior 05" and expanded to 13 when Kyuhyun joined in 2006. Their 2009 hit "Sorry, Sorry" sparked a Hallyu wave across Asia, earning them the title "Kings of Hallyu." In September 2014, they became the first Korean act to hold 100 concerts worldwide, and in 2025 they released the album Super Junior25 to mark their 20th debut anniversary.

Super Junior is SM Entertainment's large-format boy group, conceived by producer Lee Soo-man and debuting on November 6, 2005 with the single "Twins (Knock Out)." The group originally operated under the name "Super Junior 05" with a planned rotating-member concept, but due to its broad popularity transitioned into a fixed lineup.
Their 2009 single "Sorry, Sorry" became a sensation not just in Korea but across Asia, cementing Super Junior's status as one of the leading groups of the Hallyu wave. Over nearly two decades, the group has actively run multiple sub-units (Super Junior-K.R.Y., -D&E, -M, -T, -Happy) that showcase individual members' strengths in vocals, dance, visuals, and entertainment.
