About the Group
LE SSERAFIM is a five-member girl group under Source Music (HYBE sub-label) who debuted on May 2, 2022 with the EP Fearless. Their name is an anagram of "I'm Fearless" and references seraphim, the six-winged angels — embodying the message of fearlessly forging one's own path. The EP Antifragile (October 2022) made them the fastest K-pop girl group to enter the Billboard 200 since debut. The English single "Perfect Night" (October 2023) topped the Circle Digital Chart for six consecutive weeks. By 2024, they performed at Coachella, won MTV VMA and EMA awards, and were featured in the Grammy Museum's K-pop exhibit — firmly establishing their global presence.

Debut Story
Source Music announced LE SSERAFIM on March 28, 2022. The group originally debuted as six members, but member Kim Garam departed on July 20, 2022, following controversy, and the group has since performed as five.
What distinguished LE SSERAFIM from the start was the caliber of their pre-debut credentials. Sakura was a veteran of HKT48 and IZ*ONE; Chaewon was also an IZ*ONE alum; Yunjin was a Produce 48 participant; Kazuha was a classically-trained ballerina personally scouted by HYBE's chairman; and Eunchae was a highly-regarded young dancer. Together they built a confident, bold team identity around the idea of fearlessness.
Their debut EP Fearless drew over 270,000 pre-orders and earned their first music show win just 8 days after release. Antifragile (October 2022) crossed one million copies and became the fastest debut-era entry by a K-pop girl group onto the Billboard 200.
