About the Group
CORTIS is a five-member boy group under BIGHIT MUSIC that debuted on August 18, 2025 with the digital single "What You Want." They are BIGHIT MUSIC's third boy group, following BTS and Tomorrow X Together (TXT).
The group's name is derived from six letters taken from the phrase "Color Outside the Lines," symbolizing their commitment to thinking freely, unconstrained by the norms and expectations set by society.
Unlike traditional idol groups, CORTIS has no fixed individual positions — all five members actively participate in songwriting, music production, choreography, and video production as a "Creator Crew."
Their debut EP "Color Outside the Lines" (September 2025) debuted at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 — the second-highest chart entry for a K-pop group's debut album — and surpassed two million in cumulative album sales.

Leader Martin spent approximately six years as a BIGHIT trainee, building his creative skills by working on songs for other HYBE label artists during that period.
