"Hello, we are IVE!" IVE is a six-member girl group under Starship Entertainment who debuted on December 1, 2021. The name "IVE" derives from the English phrase "I have" — a confident declaration that the group possesses everything needed to stand on stage as a complete girl group from day one, with no growth narrative required. IVE is Starship Entertainment's first girl group since WJSN (2016), and in March 2023 they signed with Columbia Records for international promotion.

The oldest member. Finished 5th on Mnet's Produce 48 (2018), joined IZ*ONE for ~2.5 years, then debuted with IVE. 173cm tall with boundless stage energy; fluent in English. 💚 Rei (Naoi Rei / Feb 3, 2004 · Nagoya, Japan) Main Rapper. Passed the LOEN Friends Global Audition in Nagoya in 2018, then relocated to South Korea to train. A skilled illustrator who loves collecting cute items. ❤️ Jang Wonyoung (Jang Wonyoung / Aug 31, 2004 · Seoul, South Korea) Vocalist, Dancer, Main Visual, Center. Finished 1st on Produce 48 and was an IZ*ONE member before joining IVE. Plays piano and loves cats. 💛 Leeseo (Lee Hyunseo / Feb 21, 2007 · Seoul, South Korea) — Maknae Lead Dancer, Visual. Former SM Entertainment kids model, recognized for her talent from a young age. Only 14 years old at debut. High-energy, great at selfies, and loves sweet food.

The pivotal moment in IVE's formation was the disbandment of IZ*ONE (April 29, 2021). Jang Wonyoung (1st place) and An Yujin (5th place), who had participated in Mnet's Produce 48 (2018) and spent two and a half years in the Korean-Japanese project group IZ*ONE, returned to Starship Entertainment after the group's disbandment. Starship built the six-member lineup by pairing the two with existing trainees Gaeul (joined 2017), Rei (joined 2018), Liz (joined 2019), and Leeseo. From November 3–8, 2021, members were revealed one per day in a countdown format, building anticipation to a peak. On December 1, 2021, IVE officially debuted with "Eleven," which claimed a music show win just 7 days after debut — the fastest ever by a debuting girl group — while also breaking the record for highest first-week debut single sales.
