NMIXX

NMIXX is a six-member girl group under JYP Entertainment who debuted on February 22, 2022 with the single album Ad Mare and title track "O.O." The name combines "N" (representing now, new, next, and the unknown) with "mix," meaning "the best combination for a new era." NMIXX defined their sound with "Mixx Pop" — a genre that fuses radically different musical styles within a single track. The debut single "O.O" was deliberately provocative, blending pop and heavy metal into one song. Their 2025 debut studio album Blue Valentine finally gave them their first-ever chart-topper on the Circle Digital Chart (four weeks at #1). In February 2026, they became the first K-pop girl group to perform at the São Paulo Carnival in Brazil.

JYP Entertainment announced a new girl group in July 2021 — their first since ITZY debuted in 2019. Between August and November 2021, the members were gradually revealed through dance performance videos and covers, building anticipation before their February 22, 2022 debut. NMIXX's central creative identity is "Mixx Pop" — a style that deliberately crashes two very different genres together within a single song. The debut track "O.O" fused bright pop with heavy metal breakdowns, creating what many described as the biggest conversation in K-pop in 2022. Initial reactions were divided, but the bold artistic choice established NMIXX as a genuinely distinctive act. By 2023's "Love Me Like This" and 2025's "Blue Valentine," the concept had evolved into something more broadly acclaimed. NMIXX currently performs as six members after former member Jinni departed in December 2022 for personal reasons.
