"Hello, we are ILLIT!" ILLIT is a five-member girl group under Belift Lab, a sub-label of Hybe, who debuted on March 25, 2024. The name "ILLIT" stems from the concept of placing a self-chosen verb between "I'll" and "it" — representing members who act with their own will and make their own decisions. ILLIT is Hybe's third girl group, following LE SSERAFIM and NewJeans.

ILLIT operates without official position designations, with all five members contributing equally. 🐆 Yunah (Roh Yunah / Jan 15, 2004) Nickname "Roh-quail egg." Known for her small oval face and signature tooth smile. 🐰 Minju (Park Minju / May 11, 2004) Nickname "Dumpling." Plays violin and loves animals, especially dogs. ☕ Moka (Sakai Moka / Oct 8, 2004 · Japan) The group's "mother" figure. Shy but warm-hearted. On hiatus since June 2026 due to health reasons. 🐿 Wonhee (Lee Wonhee / Jun 26, 2007) Nickname "Stingray." Highly athletic; served as her school's sports committee head. 🐢 Iroha (Hokazono Iroha / Feb 4, 2008 · Japan) Maknae (youngest). A perfectionist and introvert; former JYP Entertainment trainee.

ILLIT was formed through R U Next?, a survival competition co-produced by Belift Lab and JTBC (aired June 30 – September 1, 2023). Twenty-two contestants competed across seven rounds, judged by a combination of coach evaluations, fan votes, and global fan ballots. Six members were initially selected; however, Youngseo departed by mutual agreement in January 2024, finalizing the five-member lineup for their official debut on March 25, 2024. Debut single 'Magnetic' made history as the first K-pop group to simultaneously chart on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Singles Chart with a debut single.
