About the Group

ITZY is a five-member girl group under JYP Entertainment, debuting on February 12, 2019 with the single album IT'z Different and the title track "DALLA DALLA." The group name ITZY (있지) was coined by J.Y. Park himself, meaning "You have everything you've ever wanted — it's all here!" On their debut day, "DALLA DALLA" set a record for the most views in 24 hours by a K-pop debut music video, and just 8 days after debuting, ITZY claimed their first music-show win — the fastest for a girl group at the time. In 2019, they swept all five major rookie awards (Melon Music Awards, MAMA, Golden Disc Awards, Gaon Chart Music Awards, Seoul Music Awards). CHECKMATE (2022) became their first million-seller album, further cementing their global fanbase.
